Tarot, Oracle, Psychic and Mediumship Readings know the difference.

Reading with Tarot cards

The most well known tarot deck is the Rider Waite Smith deck.

78 cards, originally published in 1909. Created in collaboration by artist, illustrator and writer Pamela Coleman Smith and author, poet and mystic, Arthur Edward Waite.

The cards are used to interpret the symbology, archetypes, colours, numbers and sometimes the astrological signs. The reading layout unfolds and reveals a story that offers support, guidance, and some sort of hope to the client/also known as the sitter.

Some readers read the cards as they are through the structure given by the creators of the Tarot and others read them intuitively as an extension of their psychic abilities. I have been blessed to work with some wonderful mentors from the Tarot Guild of Australia and use this knowledge and a combination of my psychic abilities to offer a reading with the Tarot. Knowing the foundational symbology, the numerology, the archetypes and astrology of the cards as they come together in any particular layout assists in offering a great reading.

Reading with Oracle cards

Oracle cards offer a wide array of beautiful symbology, artistic imagery and in some cases have key words or phrases that help guide the client to a specific direction when read. These cards can be read in any format/layout and also as an add on to the Tarot. Oracle cards offer insight like the Tarot, some readers find them easier to read alone.

A Psychic Reading

A psychic reading is all about you, what is going on with you – how you got to where you are today and some future possibilities. Through the use ESP, extra sensory perception a connection is made with the client’s energy field.  A reading is offered based on the clients need and or questions.

I believe we are all psychic beings – it is whether we choose to exercise and practice this sense ability based on our life choices. It is simply a natural ability that comes with part of being a human spirit.

A Mediumship Reading

A mediumship reading is all about communicating with loved ones, family, friends and pets that have passed away.

A medium uses their psychic senses to tune in to those presenting in Spirit. Information is perceived in rapid bursts of raw data, information offered by the Spirit persons, a mix of images, symbols, memories, emotions and stories.  The reading is from your deceased loved ones, friends and pets. A medium is a conduit between the two worlds offering information which is confirmed by the client/sitter as being evidential, fact and truth. Hence the symbology and data can be similar with reading cards, the difference is that it comes from a pure intelligent divine source – your Spirit loved ones, family and friends. A medium should offer clear specific evidence, no general statements.

Your past loved ones are still very much a part of your life – just place a call out to them. A good medium can guide you on how to do this. All mediums are psychic, not all psychics have mediumistic abilities. Know the difference and ask for credentials.

You should always feel a sense of clarity, guidance, inspiration and support, after every reading, regardless of which reading you choose. An ethical reader will respect your autonomy and privacy. An ethical reader will be upfront with pricing and clear about their credentials. The flashiest most expensive socials does not make the best reader.
