If you've ever held the Motherpeace Tarot in your hands, you'll know there's something immediately different about it. The cards are round—soft at the edges, welcoming - and the images pulse with colour and ritual. Created in the late 1970s by Vicki Noble and Karen Vogel, the deck grew out of the heartbeat of the women's movement. It wasn't just another deck - it was a call to come home to intuition, to creativity, to the sacred rhythm that lives inside us all.
The deck arrived at a time when women across the world were finding their voices. The 1970s and 80s were vibrant with activism, protest, and radical imagination. Second Wave feminism was reshaping laws, workplaces, and family life - but just as importantly, it was reshaping inner lives. Women began asking - Who am I, beyond what the world expects me to be? What does freedom look like in the body, in love, in spirit?
A deck born from change, and reimagined through a goddess lens; you'll find that every card issues an invitation to listen from the inside out—to trust the deep intuition that's been passed down quietly through generations, beneath the noise of systems that told us to stay small.
Join me at The Quest , at 750 Bourke Street, Docklands, in Melbourne for a day of exploration;

- Learn the herstory of Motherpeace, set against the backdrop of 1970s–80s feminism, goddess spirituality, and women's art
- Explore the symbolism of the round cards and how they invite flowing, intuitive expansive readings
- Work with a custom Motherpeace Tarot Card Spread to reclaim power, identify allies, and envision your future story
Open to people with any level of card reading experience , this workshop will be relevant for experienced readers, past students and total newbies alike.
