Healing Along the Tarot Pathway - Karen Gill
Each Tarot card is a representation of our path in life at many stages, our energetic possibilities and shadows mirrored to us, each card depicting various scenes, of loss, gain, wisdom, strength, victory, and abundance; so many possibilities can be seen and that could only be in one card.
4 suits make up the minor arcana:
Wands represented as a stick, brings forth inspiration, ideas, growth, and a newfound foundation with which to build the future.
Pentacles are symbolized as a coin; many see this suit as material wealth and fortune. At a deeper level, it can represent our energetic currency, our essence values, morals, and our soul.
Cups historically are aligned with emotions, but I see cups as what we hold inside our vessel, what treasure is within our spiritual container. What are we filled with? What do we have to share with others? Is our cup full for ourselves to be able to pour goodness into others and vice versa?
Swords are the mental magnets that can draw negative emotions and behaviors to the fore, but they can also work to show the positive, clearing away the unwanted thoughts and emotions; that hamper our ways forward.
Karen Gill is the founder and Creative Director of First Star Enterprises, a healing and teaching venture. She is a professional member of the Australian Tarot Guild Inc. and a Master Reiki Teacher. Karen works with energy and looks for stories held within, she uses the essence of those stories to provide a framework for her healing practice. Everyone has a story to tell, it may not be apparent when we first meet, but eventually after a few working consultations, we start to see patterns emerging. Karen has spent many years and continues to do so studying Holistic Healing modalities to ensure she can provide the best treatment to her clients. From Mainstream/Holistic counseling, life coaching, NLP, Tarot, and Reiki. It was Reiki that opened her up to Universal energies, this helped her understand how energy moves and works not just in the healing arts, but in the world itself, it became an integral part of her life. Karen’s particular interest is in generational healing and evolving through the changing landscape we see every day. I believe our intention to be born on earth is for evolution and to make this a better place to live for ourselves, future family members, and humanity. And in making it a better place for all, we learn how to live better lives ourselves. Therefore, cleaning and clearing away the old stories helps birth new ideas, possibilities, and new ways of being, so we can live in a better physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state than we previously have.
