The Fool’s Journey with Carolyn Johnson

Why is the Major Arcana so special?  Why do we have these cards that carry so much weight in our readings?  What do they represent and how are they linked to each other in a story that involves the Fool's journey? We look at the history, meaning, symbols, definition, Astrology and Numerology that are all connected with each card.  We then look at the Major Arcana as a story of the life journey of 'The Fool' in the physical back to a spiritual incarnation.  The Major Arcana represents universal human experiences. To bring richness to a reading, we need to navigate and understand the complex symbols of the 22 Major Arcana cards.  Every card in the Major Arcana embodies an archetypal figure.  An Archetype is a primal pattern of thought – inborn, instinctive and imprinted on every human's subconscious mind.

About Carolyn

Carolyn Johnson is a self-taught Tarot Reader with over 30 years experience and short course teacher for 3 years at Perth TAFE.  She uses her guides to transfer information into her readings to offer clarity to life's questions.  Feeling energies at a young age and not understanding this aspect of herself led her on a journey to the spiritual through attending Tarot Card readings, meditation, channelling, spiritual development and energetic healing classes. After realising Tarot is better taught in person than out of a book, she crafted a short course on how to read Tarot and TAFE ran these courses which were very fun and successful.
